By Steve Peary, Gary Hill & Paul Campo

Our chapter, consisting of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, has a director’s position representing each state.  Each position holds a two year term, with a maximum of two terms per person.  Directors are chosen through the election process, held every other year at the Spring Chapter Meeting.  But what exactly is a State Director- and who is your current director?

According to Chapter Bylaws, “The State Directors of the Chapter are voting members of the Board, attend all Chapter meetings, recommend and prepare agenda items for Board consideration, and perform such other duties as the President may from time to time designate.”  You can consider your state director your personal link to the board- a direct contact to ask questions of, give feedback to, make suggestions with, and get assistance with scholarship applications.

We are volunteers who are committed to maintaining the health of our chapter, with your help.  Institutional representatives will hear from us from time to time, primarily by email, reminding you of upcoming events and scholarship opportunities.  We would love to hear back from you, our constituents, by phone, email, or best, in person, at one of our chapter meetings.
