DartmouthsmDartmouth College is very excited to welcome you to the 2013 spring conference in March. Since the last meeting Dartmouth hosted in 2006, the campus has experienced fiscal challenges that resulted in how the college deployed facilities staff and maintenance budgets, while at the same time continued to extend its stewardship with exciting new buildings and improvements to its historic and scenic campus.

The theme will be “Inside Green” and will focus on how sustainable operations and practices drive various facilities operations and services which supports a clean, safe, cost effective and “green” learning experience for a diverse college campus.

We’ve recently added two impressive facilities including a LEED certified platinum Life Science Center and the Black Family Visual Art Center which is registered for LEED Gold certification, as part of the college’s new art district. In addition, we’ve renovated and extensively enhanced the Hanover Inn and our primary dining hall – renamed 53 Commons – which will be the location for the conference’s registration, business partner’s exhibit hall and dining.

We’re enthusiastic and look forward to the opportunity to share our experiences and progress and hope that you’ll find topics of interest that can be shared amongst your colleagues and stakeholders and to support your college’s mission.

Additional information will be available soon.

We look forward to seeing you in March 2013.
